Enjoy a five star start to season!

Released for download on Friday night for the fans, players and officials of the Northern Premier League on the eve of the new season, the hour long podcast also hears from representatives of a brand new club, Ossett United ahead of their first ever competitive fixture, and another with high hopes of ending their exile and returning home, Skelmersdale United.

After returning last weekend with the release of August's monthly show, host Ben Hughes runs the rule over the opening day's action with the EVO-STIK League's social media man James Heyes, 26nil's Ian Burke, the North East Football Podcast's Mark Carruthers and five managers with top of the table targets to hit at Basford United, Belper Town, Gainsborough Trinity, North Ferriby United and South Shields.

Thousands of fans are expected to tune into the EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit stable of weekly and monthly podcasts over the course of the season after they earned rave reviews last term and their best ever listening figures for the NPL's historic 50th anniversary season, records they are expected to break again.

Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom and produced as always by the team behind FC Radio, formerly FCUM Radio before rebranding this summer, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fifth season running by the league's title sponsors at EVO-STIK.

Since season 2016-17, the weekly EVO-STIK NPL Show, monthly podcast and EVO-STIK NPL Division One Show have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
