Experienced midfielder leaves Bamber Bridge

Bamber Bridge have announced the departure of experienced midfielder David Perkins.

The 40-year-old has left the club to join the coaching staff of League One side Exeter City.

Perkins arrived at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium in August and went on to make 19 appearances in all competitions.

He boasts a wealth of Football League experience from earlier in his career, amassing a large amount of game time for the likes of Rochdale, Barnsley and Wigan Athletic.

A Bamber Bridge statement read: “We all wish David the best of luck in his new role in the South West and thank him for his efforts!”
