Experienced midfielder makes Tadcaster switch

Tadcaster Albion have announced the signing of midfidler Luke Sharry.

The 32-year-old joins the Brewers from Eccleshill United, where he sustained an injury which prevented him from action.

A former Bradford City youth player, Sherry boasts a wealth of experience from Step 3 and 4 of the football pyramid, featuring for Guiseley, Worksop Town, Droyslden, FC United and Ossett Albion, among other clubs.

Before his move to Eccleshill United this summer, the veteran midfielder enjoyed a four-year period at Yorkshire Amateurs.

Newly appointed managers Neil Sibson and Craig Ogilvie will be hoping to utilise Sherry's experience to kickstart their season - the Brewers currently sit second from bottom in the NPL East, failing to win a single game from 11 fixtures.
