Fans thanked for season's support

By David Watters

The NPL Facebook Group's administrators have thanked fans for their support over the 2015-16 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League campaign.

Set up back in 2009 by two supporters watching an FA Trophy tie between FC Halifax Town and Shepshed Dynamo, with nearly 5,500 members, the EVO-STIK NPL's fan-run social media group is now one of the biggest and fastest growing in football.

As well as thanking members for supporting efforts like Movember and choosing their player of the year at the EVO-STIK NPL Players of the Year Awards, twin founder Bradley Dobson singled out support for last season's new Prediction League on behalf of the admin team in an end of season message.

He posted: "It's been another great season for the NPL Group and I'd just like to thank you all for being apart of this ever growing group of ours.

"A lot of time and effort go's in to running this group as all the admins are working full-time jobs and are all involved with their own clubs. We can't always been there at the click of a finger to sort something but we always manage to get it sorted more or less.

"The Prediction League has been yet another huge success! Yet again a lot of time and effort involved. Thank you all once again! Least we've got the Euro's to keep us occupied over the summer..."
