Terry Fleming recieved the First Division South Manager of the Month award for October following Lincoln United's unbeaten League run in the month.
The award was presented before United's league defeat at the hands of Shepshed Dynamo.
United had four wins and two draws in October but Fleming has sinced realised the dreaded "Manager of the Month curse."
Lincoln United's Director of Football John Wilkinson commented. "Terry has to endure a double curse because November has traditionally been a barren month for Lincoln United."
He added , "In all seriousness it has been nothing to do with luck or curses, we just haven't played well enough in the three games in November and everyone on the staff is aware of that."
Fleming was keen to point out that the award was for the "team" both on and off the field.
