The 17-year-old midfielder, pictured, grabbed a dramatic late winner in a 2-1 victory over the West Midlands before Christmas to send Lancashire into the second round of the English Schools FA Boys U18s Inter County Trophy.
After announcing his call-up on Wednesday, officials at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium are looking forward to seeing him line-up against the Sheffield & Hallam FA's representative side on Saturday in a 2pm kick-off at the County Ground in Leyland.
Signed last summer from League One Bury after his release from youth terms with The Shakers, the Rams say the highly-rated central midfielder and Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School pupil has been thriving since breaking into the Premier Division club's first team earlier this season.
Ramsbottom United secretary and spokesman Tony Cunningham said: "Having begun his career as a junior at Bury FC, this award is a recognition of his talent which will hopefully see Zack becoming a regular at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium in the years to come. Everyone at Ramsbottom sends their congratulations."
