Former Dolly Blues striker returns

Lancaster City have confirmed the return of striker Brad Carsley.

The 28-year-old rejoins the Dolly Blues after a period away from the club with Charnock Richard.

He featured for Lancaster between 2018 and 2020, and is welcomed back to his former side who sit 17th in the Premier Division.

On his return to the Giant Axe Stadium, Carsley said: “ I’m buzzing to be back at this level of football,

"Obviously spending 2-3 seasons away from Lancaster you miss certain things.

“I've always had a great relationship with the manager, Felly, and we've always stayed in touch since my first spell there.

“Hopefully, I can help the lads get some more points on the board as they've been on a good run of late.

“The fans know what to expect from me when I play so hopefully I can be in amongst the goals soon. Looking forward to the trip to Chester tomorrow!"

He will go straight into contention ahead of their trip to Chester for their FA Trophy Second Round tie.
