Former Reds player makes his return

Workington have announced that Brad Hubbold has returned to Borough Park.

The midfielder re-joins the Reds from Lancaster City following a short spell with the Dolly Blues this season.

On his return to Workington, Hubbold said: “I am really looking forward to getting back out on Borough Park and hopefully can have a positive impact and help continue what has already been a good start to the season made by the lads”

Reds boss Danny Grainger told the club’s official site: “It’s no secret how highly I rate Brad and I was gutted to see him leave in the summer but understood his reasoning for it,

“And for whatever reason it hasn’t worked out for him at Lancaster and now I’m delighted to welcome him back.

“I believe he will come into the squad and add more quality to an already very strong squad as we look to keep improving.

“Brad is a huge talent and I look forward to seeing him back in the Reds shirt very soon.”

Hubbold is set to make his first appearance back in a Reds shirt this weekend as Workington face 1874 Northwich in front of the home support.
