Former skipper returns to Newcastle

Newcastle Town have re-signed former skipper James Askey, but full-back Kyle Stubbs has left the club.
Askey, 27, played more than 300 games for the club before short spells at Stafford Rangers and Chasetown.
He scored in the recent pre-season loss at Eccleshall.
Meanwhile, Stubbs was released last week to enable him to sign for Stone OA in time for their opening North West Counties League fixture at the weekend.
