Forward departs Ossett United

Ossett United have announced that Kelan Swales has departed the club.

The forward joined the club in August 2023 on dual-registration from National League North side Alfreton Town.

Since then, Swales has made 15 appearances in all competitions for the Sheepicorns, scoring four goals.

A former junior player for Huddersfield Town and Halifax Town, he spent time in the United States where he featured for Appalachian State University in North Carolina and Loyola Greyhounds in Maryland.

In a statement regarding his release, Ossett United said: "Forward Kelan Swales has been the subject of a number of approaches from clubs in the National League North and NPL Premier Division and has made the decision to move on.

"We wish Kelan every success in his future career."
