Fred Goodliffe - Grantham Town

It is with great sadness that the club learnt of the death of former Chairman Fred Goodliffe.

A Director of the club for 12 years before becoming Chairman in 1972, Fred was involved in some of the most important moments in the clubs' history. The appointment of Terry Bly as manager, promotion to the Southern League, the FA Cup Third Round against Middlesborough, and the clubs first ever shirt sponsorship deal all took place during Fred’s time at the club.

A minutes silence will be held before the home game against Goole AFC.
