Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Carlton Town have unveiled a programme of events to help boost their finances.

The Millers announced on Wednesday that Chairman Mick Garton and commercial manager Brian Dennett had pencilled in a series of fundraisers to help the First Division South club meet all its financial obligations at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.

Tickets have now gone on sale at £10 for a comedy and magic night on Friday 25 April with Leslie Gibson and Paul Grundle. The event includes food and tickets for Carlton’s big Easter draw will also be drawn on the night.

They are set to go on sale in the next few days after the club also confirmed the biggest potential fundraiser, their annual ‘Big Summer Speakers’ night on Thursday June 12 when Dean Windass and Steve Kindon, who previously brought the house down at Stoke Lane, will help them celebrate the kick off the World Cup in Brazil as after dinner speakers.

Millers fan and BBC Match of the Day reporter Andrew James will be MC for the evening at the Approach in Nottingham city centre. Tickets priced at £20 or £40 with a three course meal, are set to go on sale shortly.

Tickets can be purchased direct from the Approach in Friar Lane or from
