George Cooper makes Rylands move

Warrington Rylands have announced the signing of George Cooper from Chesterfield.
Cooper, 26, arrived at Chesterfield in June 2022 from Plymouth Argyle.
The former Crewe Alexandra midfielder, who made 122 appearances and scored 13 goals for the League Two side, was limited to just nine appearances for the Spireites due to injuries.
He recently cancelled his contract with Chesterfield by mutual consent and joins Michael Clegg's Rylands side who currently sit in 11th place in the Northern Premier League.
Cooper will go into contention to face FC United of Manchester at home on Saturday, alongside new signing Matty Sargent.
