George Hassall returns to Marine

Hassall, 20, made his debut for the Mariners in 2017-2018 having joined from AFC Fylde, and has previously featured for Shrewsbury Town and Prescot Cables.

Manager Neil Young said: "We have always said that the squad would evolve as the season progresses due to the big squad overhaul in the summer and bringing George in is part of that process.

"George brings us something different and adds to the players we have already in that position. He has scored 10 goals this season for Prescot and in my experience, to be challenging at the top end of this division you must have plenty of goals in your team and George will add to that.'
