Gillies blow for Shields

South Shields midfielder Josh Gillies is set for a couple of months on the sidelines with a hernia injury.
Gillies, 29, will go under the knife on November 8 and is expected to be out of action for six weeks from that date.
He has scored 11 goals in 51 appearances for Shields since joining from Darlington last summer.
