Burscough have confirmed that Derek Goulding is the club's new first team manager.
The club confirmed that Chris Stammers left the club last Thursday and - after a brief spell with Dave Thompson in caretaker charge - has been replaced by Goulding, who had managed the club for six years from 2003.
During Goulding's previous spell in charge, the Linnets reached the Second Round of the FA Cup, as well as winning the NPL in 2006/07.
After leaving the club, Goulding was the first ever manager of AFC Liverpool, who play in the North West Counties League.
