Grantham kids bid for glory

Grantham Town’s emerging young players are going for cup glory on Tuesday night when they take on Cleethorpes based Clee Community FC in the Lincolnshire County Cup's semi-finals.

Managed by Eddie Humphreys, who acted as caretaker manager for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club's first team earlier in the season, the Under 16's are hunting silverware after a great first season in the Midland Junior Premier League where they've more than held their own against the likes of Kidderminster Harriers and Corby Town.

With a final against either Appleby Froddingham or Birchwood the prize, kick off at the Meres is 7:30pm and admission is free.
