Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Stamford AFC have appointed Steve Farmer as a first team coach.
Farmer, pictured, will work alongside Daniels manager David Staff who replaced Wayne Hatswell in May after he won promotion to the NPL's top flight via the First Division South Play-off Final. Hatswell left the Daniels soon afterwards to join Football League new boys Newport County as a coach.
Farmer guided Bedworth to the club's first ever promotion to the Southern League's Premier Division two years ago and left in May following their relegation on goal difference. The Greenbacks have since been switched to the Evo-Stik NPL and kick off in First Division South under new manager Ady Fuller in August.
Stamford's Director of Football, Guy Walton, said: "We are delighted Staffy has secured Steve’s coaching services and look forward to pre-season in preparation for this season’s tough challenge of NPL Premier Division football."
