Guiseley make exciting double signing

Guiseley have bolstered their ranks with the arrival of forward duo Kofi Moore and Abimbola Obasoto.

Moore has returned to the Lions on a season-long loan from Oldham Athletic, having made four appearances during a previous, weather-disrupted loan spell back in November.

He was subsequently recalled by his parent club less than three weeks ago and drafted into their matchday squad, but it has since been decided that the 19-year-old wide man can return to Nethermoor on a more permanent basis to aid his development.

Also linking up with the Lions is Obasoto, who was most recently with Northern Premier League leaders Radcliffe.

The 21-year-old racked up over 40 appearances last season for Bury, scoring 13 times and adding 11 assists as they won the NWCFL Division One North title.

The winger was a key player at former club Bury under the guidance of Guiseley boss Andy Welsh, who succeeded Paul Phillips back in October.

The pair featured in the starting XI during the club's 1-0 win at neighbours Bradford Park Avenue on New Year's Day, with the Lions now just two points adrift of the play-offs.
