High fives as Curzon hit six

Curzon Ashton striker Kristian Dennis hit five goals on Monday night as Garforth Town were hammered 6-0 in Evo-Stik NPL First Division North.

Scott Metcalfe opened the scoring on 14 minutes before Dennis hit his stride, scoring three before the break on 32, 39 and 41 minutes. The hot-shot completed the rout with two more after the break on 48 and 59 minutes.

Elsewhere, in the only other Evo-Stik NPL game, New Mills beat Prescot Cables 2-1 in First Division North with a last minute goal from Ross Needham.

David Fitpatrick had opened the scoring from the spot on 43 minutes before Prescot Cables equalised through Luke Edwards on 61 minutes.
