The 26-year-old ex-Walsall striker, pictured, had been a long term target of Yeltz manager John Hill. In a statement on Friday, officials at The Grove said Hill was "delighted" to finally sign the experienced forward ahead of their weekend trip to Blyth Spartans in the second qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Sedgley born, Bowerman kicked off his career coming through the ranks at Walsall. After spending time on loan at Redditch in the then Conference North in 2011, he returned to make 50 appearances for the League One's Saddlers, scoring nine goals in the process after making his first team debut against Middlesborough in the League Cup.
Following his release from Walsall in 2013, the forward spent time at League Two Accrington Stanley and was on loan at Stourbridge before joining Altrincham last season and then Stafford Rangers at Marston Road in August.
