Evo-Stik NPL Club of the Month Awards

Worksop Town, Warrington Town and Mickleover Sports are all looking forward to collecting their Bostik Club of the Month Awards after being named as September's winners on Monday by the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Judges from the NPL and sponsors Bostik, the parent company of league title sponsors Evo-Stik, named September's winning trio in the new competition to recognise and reward the top performers in the league's three divisions after examining the results, form and performances produced by the NPL's 68 sides over the month.

Each divisional winner will be presented with an inscribed certificate and 4.5 litre bottle of Bells Whiskey to mark the club's achievement at an upcoming fixture by representatives from the league and sponsors.

FC United of Manchester, who took the Premier Division's laurels for August after recovering from an opening day defeat and subsequent draw to win three games on the spin, are pictured collecting the campaign's inaugural award from League Operations Manager Alan Allcock and Bostik Sponsorship Manager Clive Timmins before taking on Rushall Olympic at Gigg Lane.

League Secretary Angie Firth and Timmins are due to present September's top flight accolade to Worksop Town this Saturday when they host Witton Albion at Sandy Lane. The Tigers were chosen for their three wins, a draw and single defeat in the league as well as their FA Cup heroics to reach the competition's Third Qualifying Round.

First Division North Warrington Town are due to be the first of this month's winners to be honoured on Tuesday when League Operations Manager Alan Allcock and Bostik's Timmins make the presentation before the Wire take on Ossett Town in an FA Cup Second Qualifying Round Replay. Town scooped September's award for winning all four of their league outings and their FA Cup performances.

Mickleover Sports are set to collect their accolade next Tuesday night (October 8) before they kick off against Rainworth Miners Welfare, League Representative Mark Ogley rewarding the club for a September record that saw them win all four of their league outings and also progress in the FA Cup.
