Hudson hits 200 milestone

Lancaster City defender Ben Hudson made his 200th appearance for the club in the recent game at Morpeth Town.

Hudson, 26, joined the Dolly Blues from AFC Fylde in 2012, having previously spent time with Preston and Bradford.

He told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted with it.

“At this level players tend to move on quite a bit so it’s quite something to reach 200 games. I love playing for this club and I can’t tell you how proud I am to reach 200.”

Unfortunately, Lancaster couldn’t mark Hudson’s milestone appearance with a win - they conceded two late goals to go down 3-2 at Craik Park.
