Hughes, 25, came through the ranks at Oldham and played eight times for their first team before moving on to Hyde, Halifax Town and Worcester City.
He played in the EVO-STIK League last season for Warrington Town and Stalybridge Celtic, before joining Curzon.
Colls manager, Michael Clegg, said: "We were made aware that Connor needed games at the time we lost Ben Conway.
"It’s an unbelievable signing for us at this stage of the season, to get someone in of Connor’s ability. He is an exciting player and fits in with how we play.
"We can’t wait to see him in action. He is desperate to do well and get back playing. I’d like to thank Mark Bradshaw for making it happen, we have had a really good relationship since he got the manager’s job at Curzon.”
