Hyde add depth to defence

Hyde United have confirmed that Josh Askew has joined the club following his departure from FC United of Manchester.

The left-back started his career with Blackburn Rovers and has since made appearances for Clitheroe, Salford, Boston United and Chester FC before making his debut for FC United earlier this year.

The 24-year-old has gained an abundance of first-team experience and will bolster Hyde’s full-back options for the remainder of the season.

Askew has already made his debut for the Tigers over the weekend, featuring in their 3-2 loss to Colne in the FA Trophy.
