Ian Holloway praises Owls set up

Grimsby Town manager Ian Holloway has praised Cleethorpe Town’s facilities following their pre-season friendly.

The Football League Two side travelled to the newly-named myenergi Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and took away a 3-0 victory in their first friendly of the 2020/21 campaign.

Following the clash, Holloway said: “It was a really good work out. I’m really impressed with Cleethorpes Town set up. Fantastic, I love it. I’ve seen it from the road, but I couldn’t see what was behind that.

“I think it’s magnificent, so I congratulate them. It was a tough test.”
