Injury blow for Marine

Play-off hopefuls Marine have been rocked by a second serious injury in a matter of weeks.

Young midfielder Freddie Price has suffered a full anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in training, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.

Price had made six appearances for the Mariners so far this season.

It is the same injury which Price's team-mate Jack Dunn suffered at the end of last year.

The club have announced that both players will undergo surgery in the next week.
