And Isaac The Gingerbread Man is likely to be the best dressed mascot in Non-League football this season after the Premier Division club teamed up with GIGER MEDIA.

Designed by staff at the Grantham-based company before being built in the UK by a specialists in handmade professional costumes and promotional outfits for other team and sporting events, the mascot's replica shirt even sports the required EVO-STIK NPL branding!

As part of their work for the club, Isaac will also be used to promote and market The Gingerbread Conference Centre at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium in what the management at the marketing specialists are calling a 'variety of novel ways’.

Grantham Town's chief executive Keith Horton, pictured left alongside Isaac and GIGER MEDIA's creative director Tony Lee, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the mascot that GIGER MEDIA have given us.

"It will help us to market the team and The Gingerbread Conference Centre outside of matches, and also provide some family fun and entertainment for the fans during homes games.”

Lee said: “When we were approached by Keith Horton regarding becoming a business supporter we weren’t sure what we could initially bring to the club, until he mentioned that the old mascot wasn’t really up to much now, and actually hadn’t been used for ages.

"We offered to design the new gingerbread man, complete with matching football strip, and said that we would have him made and then gift him to the club, much to Keith’s delight.”
