James Askey joins Hanley Town

Hanley Town have fought off competition to bring in former Newcastle Town defender James Askey.
Askey made 44 appearances last season for the Castle, more than any other team-mate.
They finished 15th in the Pitching In NPL West Division during the 2022/23 campaign - a place and a point above Askey's new employers.
A club statement read: "James needs no introduction to football followers in the local area, following a long stint at neighbours Newcastle Town.
"This is a bit of coup to land James as a host of local clubs chased his signature."
