Happy to have kept a large proportion of the team that made the play-offs last season, in a recent interview Phillips admitted he was probably one short, and that void has been filled.
Phillips said: “Kept a good nucleus of the team, probably one player short of where we want to be. If we can get a left sided player, a winger, then think we’ve got a great squad.
“The club’s going in the right direction, both at the top and with the academy, and hopefully that will provide us with players to use as and when we need them.”
