Keeper earns extended stay

Huddersfield Town keeper Lloyd Allinson has had his return to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League at Ilkeston extended by a month.

The Robins have announced that the shot-stopper, pictured, had secured another month at the Premier Division's New Manor Ground after impressing manager Kevin Wilson and supporters.

Allinson, who joined the Robins at the end of September, is now in contention for upcoming games against Rushall Olympic, Witton Albion, Stafford Rangers, Chorley and Ashton United.

The keeper is no stranger to the New Manor Ground after he spent time on loan at the club in the 2010-11 season and helped the Robins win promotion from Evo-Stik NPL First Division South when he played in the Play-Off Semi-Final win against Sheffield FC.

The keeper made 27 appearances for Town's under-18 side while still a schoolboy during the 2009-10 season and made his reserve team debut in a 3-1 home win over Leeds United in March 2010. Formerly a junior with Rothwell Town, the Leeds-based keeper joined the Championship outfit nine years ago.
