Kendrick heading for Croft Park exit

Blyth Spartans look set to lose defender Joe Kendrick after he was transfer listed by the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club.

Kendrick, 27, is heading for the exit door at the Premier Division club's Croft Park after being placed on the transfer list by manager Paddy Atkinson over the weekend by by 'mutual agreement'.

A left-back or central defender, Kendrick has scored six goals in 16 outings for Spartans this season, having previously played for Newcastle United, TSV 1860 Munchen, Darlington, Torquay, Tamworth and Mansfield Town.
