Keogh - "Not Getting Carried Away

Sutton boss warns against complacency

Sutton Coldfield Town manager Chris Keogh has warned his players not to get carried away with recent results that has seen them climb to second in the league.

"Its still early doors and we will know where we are after 10 games" said Keogh. "The last 3 results have been fantastic and we should have got at least a point at Sheffield so all in all its been a very pleasing start. But we are not getting carried away and its important we keep our focus as with such a young team its easy for them to start thinking its too easy and then they get sloppy".

The Royals head to Brigg Town on Sat and assistant manager Neil Tooth warned it will be another tough test. "Brigg have a new management team and a lot of new players so the first two games was all about them finding out what this level is all about and they have picked up two good wins. We will go there full of confidence and if the players continue to listen and take on board what we tell them we will have a great chance. The most pleasing thing for me about the Leek result is that the whole squad played a massive part and you could tell by the comedy celebrations that we have a fantastic set of players and there is a good buzz around the place again".

Coach places for Brigg are still available £5 leaving coles lane at 11am.
