Leaders expected to bounce back

Martin Carruthers was backing his EVO-STIK League South leaders to bounce back from their Buildbase FA Trophy exit with victory on Saturday to maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

Carruthers, who side are five points clear before kicking off at EVO-STIK League newboys Peterborough Sports, have yet to taste defeat after 13 league outings.

Before travelling on Saturday, Carruthers, pictured, said: "We are looking at a reaction from the lads after the FA Trophy loss at Stourbridge last week and want to start this month with a positive result. With our unbeaten run and position at the top of the table we are now the team to beat in this league and I am expecting a very tough game on Saturday.”
