Leek Town strengthen squad with two additions

Leek Town have announced the signing of Matthew Bell and loan signing of Jamie Chisholm ahead of their FA Trophy tie with Chasetown FC.

Bell joins the side for his second stint after playing in Lee Casswell's successful side, appearing 146 times, eventually leaving for Nantwich Town in 2015.

He scored 31 goals in 199 appearances for the Dabbers.

Young central defender Chisholm joins the club from Mansfield Town on loan and will help cover recent injuries to Olly Harrison and Aiden Walker.

Head coach Neil Baker told the club's official website: "Matthew is a fantastic signing for us and exactly the type of experience we need in the squad, I look forward to working with him. Jamie is young, strong and will be a favourite amongst fans - a no-nonsense player who catches the key".
