Loyalty bonus aids good causes

Warrington Town

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Warrington Town are launching an 'early bird' season ticket offer on Sunday when a team of soap stars and soccer legends go head-to-head at Cantilever Park.

The charity clash will feature Warrington based Luke Roskell, 'bad boy' Sean Spencer in Emmerdale, and other cast members from the soap who'll be taking on a Warrington Town XI.

The Wire's side will feature former England and Everton legend Peter Reid, former Manchester United and Wales international Mickey Thomas, boxer Rocky Fielding and Town manager Shaun Reid, to name but a few.

The event is raising funds for St Rocco's Hospice in memory of local mum Kay Carter and the club's community development programme. The teams will be competing for the 'Kay Carter Cup' in memory of the mother of two who died on December 27 2011.

The First Division North outfit hope their season ticket offer will help attract even more fans at the weekend to boost the coffers of the good causes, help their own supporters save more money and aid the club's finances for the new campaign.

As a loyalty bonus running until the end of May, the Wire are offering adult season tickets at £99 instead of the normal £120, concessions for £75 instead of £90 and students will be charged £25 rather than the regular £35.

Tickets for Sunday's game are priced at £5 for adults with children under 12 admitted for free. Tickets include entry into a raffle with great prizes on offer including a Warrington Town Vice-Presidency worth £500.
