Lugsden bolsters Gainsborough's back line

Gainsborough Trinity have announced the signing of centre-back Kelvin Lugsden.

Lugsden spent the majority of his career at Glossop North End, making 420 appearances for the Surrey Street club.

He has since played for Shaw Lane and Droylsden, and goes straight in to the squad for Gainsborough’s Integro League Cup match away at Gresley on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Gainsborough’s home game against Scarborough Athletic in the EVO-STIK Premier League has been moved to Tuesday October 23 (7.45pm kick-off).
