Chorley manager Garry Flitcroft has transfer listed midfielder Simon Garner.
A combative central midfielder, he has also featured at left-back since moving to Victory Park from FC Halifax Town in the summer.
Garner enjoyed great success at The Shay playing 43 games in the season Halifax were promoted from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League. In November 2011 he was voted Man-of-the-Match in their televised 4-0 FA Cup Second Round defeat at home to Charlton Athletic, the scoreline distorted by a flurry of three late goals from the visitors in the final ten minutes.
Garner also lists Accrington Stanley, Fleetwood Town, Stalybridge Celtic and FC United of Manchester among his former clubs.
The Magpies, who are away at Kendal Town on Tuesday night in the Lancashire FA Trophy, say the player must not be approached directly with all enquiries made through their manager Flitcroft.
