The Evo-Stik Manager of the Month awards for April have gone to Martin McIntosh (Buxton), Brian Pritchard (Witton Albion) and Kevin Wilson (Ilkeston FC).
Martin McIntosh's extraordiary record in the month of April earns him the award, taking Buxton from relegation candidates to mid-table safety with a run of five wins. Ending the season with a run of eight wins in their last ten games, McIntosh's Bucks capped their season with a 1-0 win over Derby County in the Derbyshire Senior Cup.
Brian Pritchard now has another accolade to go alongside his play-off winners medal after a brilliant month for Witton Albion. Undefeated in the month with seven wins out of eight, Albion netted 21 goals in April, including successive 3-0 wins over Farsley FC and Curzon Ashton to take the play-offs and gain promotion to the Premier Division.
The same can be said of Ilkseton FC's Kevin Wilson, whose side overcame a last day defeat to champions Grantham Town to storm to play-off success. A 7-0 hammering of Sheffield FC in the semi-final set up a promotion decider against Leek Town, which the Robins won 2-0. All in all, April saw four wins and one defeat for Wilson's men.
All three presentations will be made at the League's End of Season Dinner on June 16th.
