Managerial change at Pickering Town

EVO-STIK League East Division side Pickering Town have appointed Denny Ingram as the club's new manager, replacing the outgoing Paul Marshall.

Currently 16th in the table, Pickering lost 3-1 at home to AFC Mansfield on Tuesday night, which turned out to be Marshall's final game in charge.

A club statement said: "The club has to announce that with mutual consent Paul Marshall will be leaving the club with immediate effect.

"The club would like to thank Paul for his work during what has been our most successful period of recent times culminating in promotion to the EVO-STIK League this season. We wish Paul good fortune for the future. We hope to see him at some time soon. He will always be welcome at the club.

"We are pleased to announce that Denny Ingram has been offered and accepted the position of Manager with immediate effect until the end of the season. We are sure that club members will show their support starting with Saturday’s home game against Ossett United."
