Marine sign Fin Sinclair-Smith

Former Bamber Bridge forward Fin Sinclair-Smith has joined Marine.

He netted 18 Northern Premier League goals last season for the Brig as they reached the play-off final before falling to a 1-0 defeat at Warrington Town.

Sinclair-Smith began his career at Blackpool and had a spell at Marine in 2018, scoring twice in a memorable FA Cup win at National League North side Brackley Town.

A spell at Longridge Town preceded a move to FC United of Manchester in December 2019, where he spent two seasons before moving to Bamber Bridge in September 2021.

Discussing his arrival, Marine boss Neil Young said: “We have previously said there was going to be significant change and that recruitment process continues.

"Fin is someone that we had been trying to sign as soon as the season finished and we are very happy that he has chosen Marine to continue his career.

"His performances and goals over the last 18 months have been exceptional and he will bring another dimension to our attacking play.

"He’s been here before on loan so knows the club but I think he realises he will see a much different Marine than first time around.”
