Marine AFC have confirmed that striker Aaron Burns has left the club to rejoin EVO-STIK League rivals Nantwich Town.
Burns, 26, left the Weaver Stadium in the summer to join the Mariners and had scored three goals in five league appearances.
The former Manchester United trainee scored 28 goals last season for the Dabbers and was the leading scorer at Ashton United for three seasons. The hot-shot, pictured playing last season, has also had spells at FC United of Manchester, Northwich Victoria, Droylsden and Altrincham.
In a statement confirming the departure, the club said: "Marine AFC confirm that striker Aaron Burns has left the club following receipt of a seven day notice of approach from Nantwich Town. We wish him well in his future career."
