Marske United manager Carl Jarrett signs a new two-year deal

Marske United have announced that manager Carl Jarrett has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

Discussing his reasoning behind re-signing to the club website, Jarrett said: “Everything about the club. I’ve been here long enough, I don’t really need to sell myself to the club with what I have done and what I haven’t done and they’re the same with me.

"We’ve got a relationship where we’ve worked well with each other. It would have took something massive for me to leave the club."

On next year's goals, Jarrett added: “It’ll be the same as the last two or three seasons since we went up in the Northern Premier League.

"For me going forward I’ve got to have a little look at the squad that I’ve got at the present minute I think to shape things up. Do I need to strength it? Maybe in places, but we had a fantastic half a season. We started really well, so I’ve got to look at things like that and I’ve got to keep the lads happy from now until hopefully the summer and keep them ticking over if we possibly can and just do business right."
