McCourt makes step up as Rylands bring in loanee

Warrington Rylands midfielder Jak McCourt has left the club to join National League North side Buxton.

He joined the Blues last summer after spending two years with Chesterfield, and went on to make 22 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Prior to that, McCourt had spent several years plying his trade in the EFL.

Rylands have also announced that their forward line has been bolstered by the arrival of Daniel Okwute on loan.

The striker, who previously featured for Kerry FC in Ireland, joined the League Two side in September after impressing on trial.

He becomes Jody Banim’s second signing of the day after Owen Robinson also made the switch to Gorsey Lane.
