Massiah McDonald has returned to Matlock Town on the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's transfer deadline day after leaving top flight rivals King’s Lynn Town on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old, pictured, switched to The Walks in November from Premier Division Grantham and scored four goals in 16 appearances before his contract was cancelled by mutual agreement with the Norfolk club.
The striker, who's also played for Carlton Town, Worksop Town and Alfreton, was suspended for the Linnets’ next two games and was registered with the Evo-Stik NPL ahead of Thursday's 5pm deadline after agreeing to head back to the renamed Autoworld Arena for his third spell as a Gladiator.
Lynn manager Gary Setchell told the Eastern Daily Press: "Mass has found the travelling for games and training difficult. He has undoubted talent and will no doubt prove his worth elsewhere. I wish to thank him for his efforts while at King’s Lynn Town."
For the latest player movements see Thursday's special transfer list which is being updated throughout the day.
