Midfielder makes Clitheroe return

Midfielder Charlie Russell has returned to Clitheroe.

The 26-year-old, who lists Stockport County and Lancaster City amongst his previous clubs, has already made 107 appearances for the Blues from his two previous spells under Simon Haworth and Phil Brown.

During that time, Russell has also chipped in with nine goals.

He spent last season at near-neighbours Colne.
