Monday's Premier Division action review

EVO-STIK League

Monday night's only game in the EVO-STIK League's Premier Division produced a thrilling 3-3 draw between two of the top five, Ilkeston FC and King`s Lynn Town - sides expected to feature in the promotion frame come the end of the season, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

A crowd of 384 at the New Manor Ground saw the visitors take an early fourth minute lead through midfielder Jake Jones. But their lead lasted barely a minute when Kane Richards equalised from a corner.

Ten minutes before half-time, Ilkeston took the lead when former Linnet Rob Duffy headed past Alex Street. And just before the hour-mark the Robins moved 3-1 ahead when Richards netted his second of the game.

It got even worse for the visitors as they were reduced to ten-men with 15 minutes remaining following the dismissal of Jackson Ramm for two bookable offences. But battling Lynn reduced the arrears through Sam Mulready with nine minutes to go and then, just two minutes later, Michael Frew headed the visitors back on level terms.
