Monthly show is well worth the wait!

By David Watters

Later than planned but well worth the wait, January's EVO-STIK NPL Show is out and ready to download!

Entitled "He's Got a Point ...", the first monthly podcast of 2018 for the fans, players and officials of the EVO-STIK League was released on Friday night ahead of Saturday's full programme of league action.

With the second half of the campaign well under way and the home straight to the NPL's historic 50th anniversary season in sight, host Ben Hughes sat down with four of the show's regulars and one new face to run the rule the runners and riders in the three promotion races.

Along with Graham Smyth from the Derbyshire Times making his debut, EVO-STIK League social media man James Heyes, The Non League Show's Swampy, Andrew Simpson from The Mid Cheshire Guardian and BBC Manchester's Ian Burke all joined Hughes to record the hour long guide to the run-in at the Heaton Hops in south Manchester on Thursday night.

Produced as always by the team behind award-winning FCUM Radio, the EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit weekly and monthly podcasts returned for the 2017-18 campaign to rave reviews to build on their best ever listening figures last term.

Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK and since last season have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
