Morpeth receive club of the month award

EVO-STIK League East Division leaders Morpeth Town were presented with their Club of the Month award at the weekend.

The North east club are seven points clear at the top of the table and have won six from six at home in the league so far this season.

They're in their first season in the EVO-STIK League having earned promotion as runners up of the Northern League.

Fellow newly promoted club Runcorn Linnets scooped the Club of the Month award for August/September in the West Division, while Warrington Town won the Premier Division award.

They received their awards at the EVO-STIK League meeting at Witton Albion last week.
