Belper Town's officials have launched a recruitment drive to appoint a new club physiotherapist at the EVO-STIK League club.

The Nailers announced on Monday that they are seeking a suitably qualified sports therapist to provide full cover for the club's senior team.

Peter Duffield's side won promotion to the Premier Division in April and officials say the successful candidate will be required to attend all first team games and training sessions in order give medical treatment, support and rehabilitation to players including devising individual treatment plans.

Ideally, the Nailers would like to employ a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy with previous experience of treating football injures and say they are looking for well motivated candidate with excellent communication skills who is flexible and able to demonstrate innovative practice.

Town's company secretary David Laughlin said: "The post would suit somebody who is developing a career as a sports therapist or physiotherapist as it will afford them experience in treating injuries on and off the pitch.

"The club has a dedicated treatment room equipped with an ultrasound machine and a weekly wage will be paid to the successful applicant together with reimbursement of expenses and any disbursements. Owning a car would also be desirable."
